The Galil Communication Library (gclib version 1.34.15 and later) comes with support for LabVIEW 2020 and LabVIEW 2021, both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
In 2015 Galil introduced our 1200W AMP-43740--Galil’s highest power multi-axis amplifier. Up till now this powerful multi-axis drive was only available in our flagship Accelera Series DMC-40x0 controllers. Now it is also available on the Econo Series DMC-41x3 (1-4 axes).
There are two primary causes of strokes. The first is called an ischemic stroke, where a blocked artery cuts off blood flow to an area of the brain. The second type of stroke is called a hemorrhagic stroke, where a burst or leaking blood vessel results in a dangerous clot inside the brain tissue. This intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is the deadliest stroke sub-type, with a one-month mortality rate as high as 52%. Due to the potential cortical disruption caused by craniotomy, conservative management (“watchful waiting”) has historically been the accepted method of treatment. With the development ASPIHRE (A Surgical Platform for Intracerebral Hemorrhage Robotic Evacuation) a better method is on the way.
Typically an engineer is faced with optimizing the performance of the motion control elements for the specific requirements of their application. This may involve some combination of minimizing settling time, ensuring the smoothest motion along a given trajectory, minimizing position error during motion or at the end point, reducing jerk, or achieving the lowest possible power consumption. Galil controllers offer a variety of tuning parameters, starting with Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) gains, that help the engineer meet these performance requirements.
