Hello.
I have a set of DMС-2143 + AMP-20540.
Now I do not have servo motors and want to drive external stepper motors drivers. I have to put a jumper on the AUX I / O for controlling step / dir on X, Y,Z axis.
Should I connect the power to the AMP-20540 if I do not use servo motors? And how to disable the servo amplifier if I do not use now?
Thank you very much.

Hello,
It depends on the configuration of your controller. Does your model have a DC-DC converter?
How are you currently powering the controller?
If you are using external stepper drivers you only need to hook up the step and direction lines. You can leave the amplifier disconnected. Setting the Motor Type to the correct stepper option will enable you to controller your stepper motor.

Hello.
Thank you for having responded.
I still do not connect anything.
I do not have dc to dc converter.
I need to set the jumpers on the controller for step and direction?
Thank you

One more question
I have amplifier AMP-20540 with frequency 120kHz , what is the minimum inductance can be in the motor?
I want to buy a motor ACM604V60 400W

Do you think this motor will approach to amplifier.
Thank you.
