Galil Communication Library¶
This library provides bindings to the gclib C++ API.
Install¶
Python 3.12 or newer is required.
The C library must be installed.
> pip install --upgrade --index-url https://www.galil.com/sw/pub/python gclib
>>> import gclib
>>> gclib.version()
'2.5.0'

For compatibility with existing Python applications, see the gclib 2.4.1 documentation for instructions on installing the first iteration of the Python wrapper, as well as examples and API documentation.
Note
Python wrapper version 1.0.1 is still supported by current versions of gclib.
