Galil Linux Repositories

To install Galil software on Linux, the appropriate package repository must be added for apt, dnf, or yum.

Galil's Linux documentation uses the $ prompt to indicate the standard terminal prompt. The most common way to execute a command with the root permissions is to prefix the command with the command sudo. For example, this is an instruction to run echo as root.

$ sudo echo "This command has root privileges"
[sudo] password for foo:
This command has root privileges
